The purpose of the Alexander F. Macdonald web site is threefold:
To gather, preserve and disseminate the history and genealogy of Alexander Findlay Macdonald (1825-1903), including his wives, descendants, ancestors, and the locales of his life and work.
To encourage friendly relations, communication, and family gatherings among his descendants.
To help his descendants learn more about their shared heritage, and to understand and appreciate it.
